We really love the harness, it is well made, a perfect fit and definitely escape proof!
Love these harnesses, so hard to find a one strap harness that actually goes behind the largest part of the ribcage so that it doesn't interfere with front leg extension and prevents backing out of the harness if properly fitted(probably wouldn't use on a dog prone to backing out or at least use a second attachment to a martingale collar). Love that you can pick colors and it is nicely placed to prevent chafing.
I've been searching for ages to find a harness that fits my long-bodied, skinny Malinois mix, and this one checks all the boxes! The handle on the back has been especially helpful during his more reactive moments—it gives me quick, confident control when I need it most. I also highly recommend choosing the option with the front clip if you plan to walk in busier or more crowded areas. It offers better steering and helps reduce pulling without restricting movement.
The Y-shape design in the front is fantastic—it avoids putting pressure on his chest and allows full range of motion in his legs. Plus, the additional clip on the back is a game changer for managing his quick, squirmy movements.
The fit is impressive and very customizable. I highly recommend following their measurement guide carefully—my dog is typically a medium in most brands, but based on their sizing, I ordered a large. He's about 40 lbs, very tall and lean, and the large fits him perfectly.
Shipping took about 2.5 weeks to Southern California, which they mentioned up front, and it was absolutely worth the wait. This is a high-quality harness and a great business to support. I'm thrilled with the product and will definitely be recommending it to other dog owners!
I have received my new harness. The presentation showed love to detail by the seller. The harness, like the two leads I have already purchased, feels sturdy and solid at also soft and comfortable. The harness-tightening buckles sit high up and don’t rub in the delicate area of my dog’s ’armpits’. I am very happy with my indi-dog harness.
The escape proof harness from Indi-dog have a a great asset to our regular walks. It has a number of handy attachment points that allow different styles of walking, and the double bit lead allows even more, though that is taking getting used to. The harness has so far proven its name and been escape proof, something we've often been challenged by with collars and other harnesses our big chested girl had no problem escaping.
While the product has been great, the communication from the business has been lacking. After signing up for newsletters that should have allowed a discount (which I only cared about because of the pop-up informing me of it) I received and still have received no mention of it. Several days after my order, I received an email stating the business was back open after holidays and included a discount code. I do not recall seeing anything on the website suggesting they were "closed," or on holidays.
The friend that pointed us to the product, did suggest that comms weren't great so that was I guess expected but still could have been improved.
There are so many adjustable points on this harness that we can get it to fit my dog perfectly. The quality is fantastic and it's absolutely worth the slight wait (compared to high street stores or next day delivery sites).
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

When the harness first arrived it looked small and I wasn’t sure how strong it would be as my new dog is a real puller but I spoke to the lady at Indi Dog and she talked me through how to fully expand the harness and I was also assured that the harnesses are suitable for very strong dogs so I have been using the harness and am very happy to report that it is indeed strong and, on top of that, beautiful, stylish and extremely comfortable. Both AVA and I are very, very happy with my purchase - can’t recommend highly enough.
Soooo much better than other harnesses we’ve used. Greyhound chests mean that most harnesses slip to the side. No problems with that here.
The neck clips mean that we don’t have to put anything over his head (which is a neat feature).
The colours are AMAZING. Bruce looks super handsome in his green harness.
The handle is great if we don’t have him on a lead.
